Wheelie Wednesday - The August Garden

Hi everyone! It's me, Autumn!
The Phlox is in bloom! We have plants in this pretty purplish color and white ones and also a pink that mom says looks like pepto bismol! And the Coneflower is in bloom too! This is such a pretty plant and every year it drops seeds and new plants start for us and we think that's a wonderful thing! This picture is of the giant zinnias and marigolds and sunflowers from a wee bit of a distance! We wanted you to see how tall the sunflowers are getting! We can't wait for the flowers to appear! The birdies probably can't either!
Look at the pretty picture we got of a butterfly on the butterfly bush! The butterfly has a damaged tail so we're thinking that we can keep track of this guy and see how often he comes to snack on our flowers!
See you all next Wednesday!

Love, Autumn

  5. Your garden is looking really lovely! We had to spend hours in the garden this morning - amazing how much grows in just a few weeks - we had lots of clearing up to do!!

The little man and me were a great help (well, I think we were!!)

    take care

  6. that butterfly bush is such a pretty color and I guess as the name suggests - it works because the butterflies are there. Those are pawesome looking sunflowers too, Mom use to grow those back home in Australia to feed to the parrots.

  8. Muzzer says she loves the deeper color of your flutter by bushes. Ours are much paler! And our zinnias haven't opened yet, but we can see the buds.

    have a great week

  11. So many lovely colors! Can't wait to see the sunflowers :) Glad that the butterfly could still fly well enough to make it to it's appropriate bush - great picture! I'm always trying to catch butterflies (fat chance of succeeding!), so maybe someone almost got that guy!

  14. Hi Autumn
Pretty flowers - great colours. We just adore sunflowers although they never grow in this garden for some reason - we think the squirrels must get the seeds! We will look forward to them opening up. We are sorry to hear about he butterfuly's tail - but glad he is enjoying your bush.

  16. The butterfly on the butterfly bush is so pretty! We tried growing a butterfly bush two years in a row, but they kept dying, so we gave up on them.
