Monday Errand

Mom has an important errand to run today and it can't be put off.

The only cone that I have worn so far is the NoarWin Inflatable and I like it but it's large and it won't allow me to get inside my crate.  It doesn't fit through the door.    So yesterday, mom put the Comfy Cone on, which is narrower than the NoarWin, on me to make sure that I couldn't do any damage to myself so she could run her errand and not worry.
This cone allows me to rest my chin on the floor.   I like this cone too!   I know that some of you are thinking that I'm crazy to like the evil cones but I have to wear it and mom says - better to be positive.   I don't get my stitches out until April 23rd so I have a while to go.
Happy Monday, everyone!

Love ya lots♥
Duke

  1. I had to wear only a hard plastic cone for two weeks after my eye surgery because any other cone might allow me to scratch my eyes. Mom took me along in the car and anywhere she went because she didn't want to risk me removing the cone since I did demolish one of them a couple days after surgery. Hopefully you are better about it.

Well, I'm glad you are content to wear the cone for your healing period, Duke - apart from everything else, that's a big help to mum! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. DUKE what a sweet and cooperative fella. You know that Mom does everything for you with love and your good being in her mind. I say best to heal right the first time than to have a DO OVER>
You still take a gorgeous photo

  11. Oopsie! We've missed a lot here, Duke!
Glad it's all going well, though. We think if we had to wear a cone we'd go berserk!
