Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

Obviously, no walking happened this week but mom discovered that another African Violet was in bloom~

We had a beautiful sunrise on Wednesday morning~

The Periwinkle is flowering!
Before Mrs Robin started to incubate her eggs, mom stole a picture while she was off her nest.   There are now three eggs.  Mom saw crows and a squirrel hanging around the base of the rhododendron yesterday afternoon.   Sadly, these eggs don't stand a chance.
We did have a bad thing that happened.     I killed my inflatable cone!   Mom has no idea how it happened.  She took it all apart searching for a hole or rip which she never found.
It wasn't me, mom!
Happy Friday, everyone!

Love ya lots♥
Duke

  2. The Rhododendrons at TADN always had some robins nesting each year - there was about a 50% success rate -

    Nope - not Sir Duke!

    Nice SUNrise shot!

  4. Yeap, it wasn't Duke, Mom. No holes, or rip, right?👻
I love your flowers and that gorgeous sunrise. Thank you for the precious pictures of Robin's eggs, I bet Mom was watching Mrs Robin.😆 It's hard to understand why Robin's eggs are blue, but if you put Mrs Robin and the eggs together, their colors work out amazing.🧡💙
I’m envious of you having the Robins this close.
