The OutFox Field Guard

I'm sure you all remember me eating wild animal poo and me having to see my vet and go on antibiotics.   Mom never wants to repeat that again if we can help it.   Lulu and Bean and their Dada suggested the OutFox Field Guard for me to wear instead of a muzzle.

Mom keeps calling it my "no more poo bonnet" and today was my first time wearing it outside.    Mom kept asking me, "Are you in there, Duke?"

I haven't been on my lunge line since we had snow!  Do I look like I'm from outerSpace?☺
It was great racing around the yard and I couldn't grasp anything and eat it and mom was so pleased.   Me - not so much as I couldn't play with my ball.    I only stayed outside about 15 minutes.   Mom asked me if I wanted to go inside and I raced to the garage door.
If anyone would like to see the instructions that come with it~~
We need to wait for a cooler day as I don't see me wearing it for long when it gets hot out but I did have fun for my short spurt in the yard!

Happy Tuesday!

Love ya lots♥
Duke

  1. We would not even move if Mom put that on our heads! Hope it does what it needs to for you. We will eat stuff too, but Mom is vigilant about always watching us and pulling us off stuff. I do the drop it command pretty well, Nelson is still working on that.

Over here in the Bonny Land, Duke, we humans walk around with something similar - called the Midge-minder!!! If it protects your from getting sore ears or eyes from the grasses, as well as stops you snacking on unfoodables, then I say it's a winner! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  6. If it works then good for you. I hear you about when it gets hot though. You're in there because I can see your body. Your mom made me laugh out loud.

I linked this post to Happy Tuesday.

Have a woof woof day and week, Duke. A hug to your mom. ♥

  9. That doesn't look like a fun thing to wear but it's sure better than you eating the poop Duke!

  10. Well, Duke, we guess if it works, it's a good thing. But we think it would be better if you just stopped eating the no-nos.

  11. That should keep you from eating poo, Duke. Now our parents might get us them to keep us from eating rabbit poo in our yard.

  12. Java Bean: "Ayyy, no more getting sick from eating poop is a good thing! We hope you get used to it and it helps you out until you lose your taste for the brown stuff!"
Lulu: "And if you have foxtails there, you definitely don't want those getting in your nose or your ears or your lovely long face furs. Trust me, I know!"

  13. Duke you may not like it but it is for your own good and you do not want any more tablets or upset tummies. Perhaps you will grow out of it as you get older. Hugs & Love Susie & Coco xx

  14. Oh! My Cod! We need to try one of those on on the Nutcase! She is still pretty young and since the snow melted, she has been eating all the poo that she can find! Deer and Cat! Mom has been at her wits end. As she is still using a walker Nutcase is not get the walks that she deserves and Mom been throwing balls. Nutcase gets far enough away and she knows Mom cant catch her and she gorges on the stinky stuff! There are a couple of places that have foxtail and boy they hurt! Mom had to take one out of my foot, I cant image one in the Nutcase's nose! Keep being awesome (and thaks for stopping by) Marvelous Marv (and Mom Barb)
